About the Program 节目介绍：

作为汉语教学节目，《走遍中国》以中国著名的风景名胜、旅游城市和列入世界遗产名录的景区为背景，通过双语教学的方式，将拍摄地的特色与语言教学巧妙地结合起来，在汉语教学的同时传播中国的传统文化。

"Happy Journey across China" is a teaching Chinese program. It focuses on combining Chinese language with Chinese scenery, such as Chinese scenic spots, tourist cities and scenic zones of World Heritage List. 上林湖是中国越窑青瓷的发祥地和著名产地之一，从东汉到北宋，历时一千一百余年。如今，上林湖畔仍有一百二十多处越窑遗址，碎瓷断片满山遍野，俯拾皆是，不愧为一座天然的青瓷博物馆。这里产的青瓷釉色莹润，似玉如冰，当年就远涉重洋，销往海外。杭州湾拥抱着东海的万顷碧波，雄伟的跨海大桥飞架南北，天堑变通途。

The Shanglin Lake area was the birthplace and one of China's major producers of celadon-ware. The craftsmanship existed for over 1100 years from the Eastern Han Dynasty till the Northern Song Dynasty. Today, there are still more than 120 sites of Yue kilns. Porcelain shards are scattered all over the area. It deserves to be called the Open-air Celadon Museum. The celadon-ware produced here is known for its crystalline and jade-like glaze. Such products were also sold overseas. The Hangzhou Bay embraces a vast area of the East China Sea. A magnificent, long bridge straddles over the bay in a north-south direction.
