I am a talent at straw painting of plum blossoms!

As the school year-end exams were approaching, I prepared some cultural activities for the children to relax, including calligraphy, martial arts, paper-cutting, facial makeup, and, of course, the creative straw painting of plum blossoms! Plum blossoms, which play an important part in Chinese culture, take a role in the "Four Gentlemen of Flowers", "Three Friends of Winter" and "Four Famous Flowers of the Four Seasons", and are common figures in the works of poets and artists. The children had fun learning about the cultural connotation of plum blossoms while making straw paintings.
