Signing Ceremony for Center for Chinese Language and Professional Skills in Pengsheng Industrial Park, Uzbekistan Held

On July 6 local time, the signing ceremony for Center for Chinese Language and Professional Skills in Pengsheng Industrial Park was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was jointly established by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education, Pengsheng Industrial Park, and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, as the first Center for Chinese Language and Professional Skills in Uzbekistan. Yu Yunfeng, Director-General of CLEC, signed the agreement on behalf of the CLEC.

Yu Yunfeng stated that the CLEC actively coordinates international Chinese language education and vocational education, collaborates with large overseas enterprises, industrial parks, and universities to establish Centers for Chinese Language and Professional Skills, and trains local employees with Chinese language and vocational skills, and cultivates talents who excel in Chinese and skills. He encouraged the Center for Chinese Language and Professional Skills in Pengsheng Industrial Park to solidify its foundation, actively serve surrounding communities, and create a new form of international Chinese language education.

Principals of Pengsheng Industrial Park and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology stated that they will fully leverage their resources, jointly organize the Center, and promote local economic and social development and China-Uzbekistan industrial and trade cooperation.

As of now, the CLEC has established 27 Centers in 20 countries.
