The CSP Advanced Chinese Interpretation and Translation Talent Training Program aims to identify and cultivate a group of outstanding young sinologists and translators who can translate, disseminate and study Chinese culture in authentic, accurate and original languages of various countries, so as to cultivate high-level translation talents for enhancing cultural understanding and mutual learning among civilizations around the world, promote two-way exchanges of Chinese and foreign languages and cultures.

The program is divided into non-academic education and professional master's training in translation and interpreting, giving full play to the advantages of the CLEC in terms of human resources, as well as the industry-university-research resources of universities and institutions at home and abroad. This program both draws on foreign advanced translation education theories, and focuses on carrying Chinese values and concepts, with the promotion of students' professional competence in translation as its core and the career development of the students as its target, thus providing local senior Chinese translation talents with a path of creation, translation, publication, dissemination and career development.

The "China Studies Program (CSP)" Advanced Chinese Interpretation and Translation Training Program for Overseas Talents has carried out a series of activities in various themes, forms and contents to meet the different needs of overseas interpreters and translators, garnering widespread attention among the overseas interpreters and translators community. 　
Renowned Chinese and foreign interpretation and translation teaching scholars, overseas sinologists and international excellent interpreters and translators are invited to analyze the strategies, methods and techniques of interpreting and translation, explore cross-cultural communication awareness and language differences, and provide professional insights into Chinese interpreting, translation, and language service industry dynamics.
