Held by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), the series of Chinese Bridge "One-Minute Journey in China" activities is open to Chinese language fans in various countries and regions of the world. Via the "Chinese Bridge Club" APP, a platform for learning, communication and interaction, the series of activities is carried out in the form of a video challenge, overcoming regional boundaries, and setting up a stage for Chinese language fans to showcase themselves and promote exchanges.

The "One-Minute Journey in China" series , with a theme for each phase, has been held for four consecutive times, attracting contestants from 122 countries and regions, and over 1,500 entries. Among the contestants, the youngest is only 8 years old, and the oldest is nearly 70 years old.

The first theme activity is "One-minute Chinese Language Micro-video Competition", which focuses on Chinese language and culture, with unlimited topics and forms of entries. The works of the participants cover 25 categories, including singing, painting, impersonation, crosstalk, New Year's greetings, food introduction, attraction introduction, etc. 

The second theme activity is "One-Minute Walk Along the 'Belt and Road Initiative'", which sticks closely to the main theme of the times. Apart from their excellent Chinese language proficiency, the positive energy conveyed by the participants are also highlights of the event.

The third theme activity is "One-minute Recommendation Talent Show", which keeps up with the trend of the society and specializes in "live streaming e-commerce". The entries range from recommendations of food, books, ethnic clothing and other sorts of interesting stuffs.

The "One-minute 'Interesting' Environmental Protection Story" Chinese Challenge, namely the fourth theme activity launchs a global challenge to renovate used items with a focus on environmental protection. The participants perform creative interpretation in Chinese, remodeling the idle objects with a pair of skillful hands, so that the used items can be utilized to their fullest potential, creating more practical value and contributing to the environmental protection.

In addition to the exciting online events, the first prize winner, entitled as "Chinese Language Star" will be granted the Chinese language and culture experience tour. Through experiencing traditional culture in an "immersive" way, visiting places of interest, and immersing themselves in the new era of China, they are exposed to the charm of the perfect combination of the traditional and the modern elements of China.
